The national park has an area of 715 square kilometers and the forest reserve has an area of 705 square kilometers and when combined it makes a UNESCO world heritage. Some part of this park has electrified fences to keep elephants from getting out the surrounding. The main reason to preserve this park as thoughtful by the Kenyan government was purposely for tourism for both local and national economies. Secondly was to preserve an area of scenic beauty, to conserve the biodiversity within the park and to preserve water catchment for the surrounding area. 2. Main tribes found here are gikuyus also known as kikuyu, tourists gain advantage of learning the gikuyu culture and other cultures surrounding that place, these tribes mainly provides the history of the great mt Kenya an explain the believe behind some available features around the park, this has made tourism to hike up in higher scales. Education is another service done by the attendants, which is done politely and efficiently. This keeps tourists flowing in for leisure and enjoyment not forgetting learning. 13. The slopes of the mountain and the way the park is arranged, beautiful scenes and I enjoyed being moved around in the park. What a good place.
